The local railway station at Lake is 5 minutes walk away, and the nearest bus stop is located on Sandown Road near to the turning to Littlestairs Road.
If travelling ‘on foot’ from London a train ticket can be purchased direct from Waterloo to Shanklin which includes the Fast Cat passenger ferry from Portsmouth to Ryde, travel time is around 2 hours.
